I have to do my Cardio - or can I?

Cardiovascular training was the daughter of the poster of each schema of good exercise for the past 50 years. Just go to a local gym and the volume of equipment cardiovasuclar of chromium on display is astonishing. Gone are the days when a member of the gym had the choice between a treadmill or bike, we now have rowers, cross trainers, climbing stairs, cycle machines arm, rise of rope machines, cardio ski …the list goes on and on machines.

Its no surprise that the new average gym member is impressed by the array of cardiovascular equipment on display! But we've never will cycle with our hands? Will never mount a flight without end of the stairs? Or are these machines here to encourage us to part with our money?

Healthclubs and gymnasiums are ready to all to continue to meet the members. Keep entertained them and keep them paying. This is why they are investing in the latest "Bun Blaster" 5000

But Ben that we must do our cardio training right? We need to burn calories and improve our cardio vascular conditioning through through a boring 45 to 60 minutes constant low boring work on the treadmill, while looking at the past few weeks Eastenders do we? "

But what happens if its just been scammed long race (Pardon the pun)

First off I would now say immediately that any gym program must include vascular cardio training. I think just the way we were told to do so does not work.

I worked in 2 large healthclubs since more than 4 years before I started my own business and I saw the same people coming at the same time of the day, every day and do the same workout and I saw these same people never lose any weight or obtain any fitter.

"Insanity: doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results"-Albert Einstein ".

Each of these members (with no exception) spent around 40-45 mins + on different cardiovascular machines. Approximately 20% of them pass then 5-10 minutes on different machines of varying weight training. Familiar? I can honestly say that the training that I have just described, in my experience, represents more than 80% of all members of the gym room.

"Gotta do my cardio!

"How this work for you?".

The human body is explosive. A typical example is the fight or flight response. When seen in danger any body releases a hormone Rush"that strengthens muscles and sharpens the senses. The body prepares to either stand and fight or sprint away and jump on the nearest tree. He is not preparing to run with 60% of our maximum heart rate for more than 40 minutes.

Heres another example. Prehistoric man is a walk in the Woods and see a rabbit "that I could do to eat some rabbit right about now, I will hunt him at a slow pace for 60 minutes + before it falls overs with exhaustion".

or

"Hey theres a rabbit, whereas a heavy stone I can throw him."

Our body responds better to explosives brief intensive training that reflect more properly the human body has done these past thousands of years. Lavish cardio machines are a new invention and our body is not built for their use. Need additional evidence?

Cortisol is a hormone that the body releases at times of stress. For example, argue with someone suffering from lack of sleep, they were out in front of a bus, be awakened by the alarm in the morning, etc. etc.

Its a vital hormone, we need!

However, there is a problem.

During periods of stress, the nervous system "Sympathetic" is booming, thats when cortisol is released into the blood

During periods of relaxation "Para symaphetic" nervous system is in action, this will relax and flush out all of our body stress hormones.

The problem is that our "ways of life Stress high ' once we get in stress mode we find it very difficult to escape." Work stress over stress relationship more than lack of sleep more alcohol notes etc etc cases we relax. This is when Cortisol becomes the bad guy…...

Impaired cognitive performance
Thyroid function deleted
Imbalances of sugar in the blood, such as hyperglycemia
Reduced bone density
Decrease in muscle tissue
Higher blood pressure
Decrease of immune and inflammatory responses, in the body the healing of wounds hampered and other health consequences
Increased abdominal fat, which is associated with much more health problems than fat deposited in other parts of the body. Some of the health problems associated with increased stomach fat are; heart attacks, development/rate "metabolic syndrome" (LDL) cholesterol and lower levels of "good" cholesterol (HDL), which can lead to other health problems!

It's all the effects of the excessive secretion of cortisol. See now why the half killing yourself on a treadmill may not a good idea?

Your body needs to learn how to lose to de-stress naturally, weight without losing your mind by endless cardiovascular exercises, how to increase the life expectancy (and life expectancy running shoe)

Slow long distance/duration cardio is not the solution for the majority of people, I only recommend for endurance athletes. Full stop.

The work of guess of your exercise and hire a personal trainer that gets results.
