In my more than two decades of training as a massage therapist, integrative body therapist, teacher of yoga and dance through my own experience living in a body, I identified 3 types of holding/constriction that occur in the body.
Physics/PhysiologicalEmotionalMentalThese holding patterns cause limitation and chronic conditions that will become very difficult to relax over time. Holding more occurs, the body learns to take, which translates into more portfolio and so on and so on.
It is useful to identify the type of operation which is present in a particular area of your body, if you will be able to release this holding pattern and create a greater freedom in your body, and therefore your life.
I will describe each of these types of holding.
Physical and physiological holding is caused by the mechanical and anatomical body condition. For example, if you have a longer leg that the other, you'll be chronically compensate limp, which will result in a hip and pelvic operation. Or if you lack calcium in your system, your muscles will relax less easily remain in a constant state of contraction. Physically and physiologically caused holding patterns often can be addressed or corrected if they are identified correctly.Emotional holding patterns are the result of emotional problems chronically unresolved which settle in the tissues of the body. Anger, guilt, resentment, blame avoidance, when not covered step do not disappear. They are just secretly integrated into your body. Some schools of thought suggest that it is necessary to identify the life experience that caused emotional held to release the energy.
Mental holding patterns are caused by a belief that we constantly. This belief may relate to the Organization, or may be completely foreign. In any event, the unconscious attachment to this belief will result in a stuckness in the body. If you think about it, how could it be otherwise. After all, any activity of the nervous system, controlling each fabric; organ, muscles and bones in the body, takes its source in the brain, the thoughts of venue comes. Clearly these will influence the other. Same with the beliefs and thoughts in consciousness can have enormous impact on the freedom of the body or the absence of.
