I returned from a trip to road bike for three days, in which I have noticed a surprising number of women runners. I saw them everywhere wherever I went up, some with husbands and boyfriends, and others in mixed gender groups.
I recently read that ten per cent of all new motorcycles are bought by women, but in fact see these women on the road and talk with them at the end of a long day of riding are a new experience for me. Their sound descriptions of ride of the day exactly as how men share experience of their day. Which is not surprising, is that women enjoy the sport of motorcycling as much, if more than men. In fact, I don't think any sport other than football not participating women.
Motorcycle manufacturers are awaken to a new audience and produce motorcycles now that match women. I saw several monsters Ducati women, a warm, Italian bike works well for short women who want to be able to plant both feet on the ground when he stopped at a fire of horseback riding. Other manufacturers will follow suit now that clear wife will become proportionally greater part of the motorcycling public purchase.
Women are signing for classes at the national level of the foundation of security in the motorcycle, and absence of an overabundance of testosterone, women probably will prove superior be runners that have nothing to prove. I noticed that women, in General, ride with the same level of competence as men, or better.
I spoke with several women at the end of the day in a motel where it seemed that every motorcycle rider was staying in Northern California. It is in the County of Humboldt, which is three hours north of San Francisco. But some women were much later. Their stories on their bikes looked exactly like my own stories that I shared dozens of times with other riders, whom I met on the road.
The first time that I have never seen a woman rider was ten years ago, and I must confess that I thought that it was incredibly hot. She was wearing a full-face helmet and leathers, hiding his face and body completely, it is the image that was beautiful. See a woman with her hair flying behind her, based on the curves, was distracting at first. It was also incredibly sensual look a woman straddling a powerful engine, being responsible for his trip. I don't mean this humiliating or chauvinistic manner all the. I appreciate everything just if beautiful woman looks at the road riding down. Perhaps women feel similarly about men who ride.
I hope that more husbands and boyfriends will encourage women in their lives to participate in what was once a male only sport. The more women who share this experience, the riders more will be on the road. The more runners, driving awareness will become to be vigilant for motorcycles.
It is a great pastime, a man and a woman can share. Travelling on two bicycles is very different from horseback riding to the rear of the bike of human. The experience is visceral and involves all senses. Men, I spoke with women ride with them are delighted to be sharing their passion. Also, the quality of the attraction is greater when do not carry a passenger. It's just more fun riding solo.
I will seek more women on the road, and I suspect that at the time where I stop riding, hopefully not for many years, that the number of women runners will approximate the number of male cyclists. It is a sport that we can all share and.
What I also noticed, is that single women who ride are extremely popular. Men fall mutually in their desire to talk to these women. Not a bad way to meet a guy is. At a minimum, there is a shared passion. Welcome to moto. It is a real pleasure to join us.
