When I work with a client in his closet invariably the discussion turns into jewellery. Have some? Like her? Don't like it? The porter? What kind of... fine jewelry? Costume? Bridge? You get the idea.
Finally, I ask to see. I can you how many times which is revealed to be a huge ordeal! At least 75% of the time its jewelry is either in a drawer in boxes, scattered in a jewellery box or in another room (in boxes, drawers or bags)!
Then, of course, I ask if it is. The answer is almost always... not really.
I can tell you now that if your jewelry is full of somewhere or well (or not so cleverly) nestled in the things of two boxes are generally true:
* It is too much trouble to get her to wear it.
* You are probably things you forgot.
Third, you may not love it enough that it you can wear. All of this could be corrected if you create a way to display your jewellery. Several things happen:
* You feel renewed excitement at the idea of wearing.
* You can find easily - which is more likely to you with more, too.
* You will become aware of what you like is no longer, or who does not go with what whether or is making it much easier to style.
The question becomes, how display you?
Well, as you know, I spend time in lots of closets and come across a number of women who have designed ways intelligent to organize and store their jewelry, it is clearly visible.
They are delighted to share their ideas with you:
Annie likes to take unusual containers and turn them into jewelry holders. Simply go to bed bath & beyond and pick up a tray of silverware and voila, you can store your jewellery like it.
Amy took a shelf of his closet to display its necklaces by attaching hooks. It was easy to see what she has and coordination with his clothes.
Claudyne lives in a fabulous old House which has a pole of bits that pass through its walk-in closet. It attachment hooks plastic and blocks all its collars it. You can easily see what she thus getting dressed and skin is simple.
I also recently found this jewellery online organizing pleasure: http://www.belledangles.com/ I haven't tried, but it seems promising. If someone tries to it I would like to hear what you think.
Finally, I have a fabulous cabinet filled with doubles as a mirror album that I keep in my bedroom with all my jewels! It comes in several wood finishes, and the price has dropped since I got it so here is your chance.
Regardless of how you store your jewels as you can see and do so easily. Like most other things when he is out of sight is out of mind. Let me know what works for you!
