For those of us who either have inherited flabby, or simply cannot say no to another piece of cake ... There are some great toning exercises for the back of your arms (known as the triceps) if performed on a regular basis and in conjunction with good dietary habits.
Tricep muscle has three heads or parts of it back, the outer and the inner side. And believe it or not these parts of the muscle in reality there are somewhere. The triceps muscle can be a fun to connect to, but if you can try to contract and without contracting other muscles you'll be on your way to proper functioning.
Printing of dumbbells lying is a big arm exercise for women. Not only do you get to lay, but this exercise really will make you feel the tricep muscle if you haven't heard for a while!
First take two lightweight handlebars and lay down on a bench of good gym with you. Then hold the handlebars on both sides of your ears and put your elbows pointing to the ceiling. The position of the elbow is a vital factor in making this exercise correctly. They must be up to the ceiling and kept in alignment with their backs, as well as much more. Once you have this position, keep it there. Don't let the elbows fall outwards or move downwards, towards the feet. The position of the elbow (straight up to the ceiling) will act as an anchor point or a zipper, so that the dumbbell held close to your ears can be raised upward towards the ceiling.
Raise the dumbbells next to your ear upward and extend to straighten the arms and the triceps. Make sure you squeeze the tricep muscles when you extend your arms, and by about 8 repetitions you should start to feel the tricep muscles.
You should hear this very day following exercise so don't overdo it to begin with. Also, take care not to knock your head with the handlebars by focusing on the elbows. Do three sets of 10-15 reps 3-4 times a week and you start to feel and see the arms taking shape within a couple of months. It is recommended that you do this exercise in conjunction with the dumbbell biceps curl exercise so that you can give your arms a total workout.
